tribulations set forth by the law of babylon
with the hour of judgement drawing nearer

let my brothers embrace death as salvation
let the blood of achilles spawn vengeance
for their arrogance is the price of my dignity
so cleanse my spirit of its guilt infested woe

sweeping its debris ashore, carry eroded dreams
we left behind love to carry on hating, mourning
plagues rage through sceptic circles
unleashing jealousy, incomprehensible arrogance

overcome the dissapointment, behold the serpent's tongue
temptation of men devouring what the future holds

by the minute of our humanity caves
into captivity, resentment blurred my sight and efforts, belief structures
like shores abide, anticipating, always weeping tranquillity
watch the antagonist ever hopeful
abstinence suppressed

weeping my elegy upon the manifestation of wealth
monuments of ordinance attends souls
